Toblerone wanted to increase gifting sales during the holidays. So we focused on the product’s unique shape and transformed the most wonderful time of the year into the most triangle time of the year.
By featuring triangular Christmas icons like, Santa hats and Christmas trees and recording a quirky rendition of a classic Christmas carol, we cemented Toblerone as the most Christmassy chocolate of all.
And to keep your holidays anything but square, we teamed up with Spotify to create a branded experience on their app that generated a unique Xmas playlist based on the user’s personal listening habits.
At first, we didn’t have the budget to record a Christmas carol, but after a little pitch theatre - me recording a rough take of the song myself - the client bought into the idea.
